Modern Day "Pink Ladies"

Baseball coat are back if you believe Vogue magazine fashion writers. These modern day varsity jackets are reminiscent of the Pink Ladies in the 1950's style classic "Grease."The cool kids this will be seen wearing fitted baseball coats this fall in leather, wool and cotton with shoulder accents and details. But don't let the name baseball jacket fool you. These coats can now be worn like blazers and paired with dresses, skirts and of course pants. This is "the baseball jacket renewed."

Explosive Color

The old saying "what goes around comes around" proves to be true as W magazine names color blocking and "kaleidoscopic colors" as the new trend for women. If you do as the glossy says and combine bright colors with prints you will create a truly explosive look that can be worn summer and fall. No matter the weather or what accessory you carry, this look takes each and every opportunity to incorporate color, texture and prints. You can go the extreme and add color to every item in your outfit or you can tone it down and choose to colorize accessories only. Or why not wear a pop of color with a bold jacket. Whichever you choose, be bold and wear colors that do not match to truly grasp the trend. The goal is to be bold, bright and beautiful!

ESPY Fashion

When one thinks of the ESPY awards you think of male athletes. This year the female athletes took center stage with their talent and red carpet fashion choices. These ladies chose short and sassy dresses that showed us all the benefits of being a female athlete (a great body!)

Sky High

If you've ever wanted to touch the sky, here's your chance. Thanks to shoe designer Bettie Paige, women can now add an extra 7 inches to their height. These boots look like Lady Gaga meets the military and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before Steve Madden re-creates a more consumer friendly version and women will be stomping down the streets in these massive heels.
